Another Look at What is Going on in My Head

Hello everyone,

To take another look at what is going on in my head (this time without involving Fred and Albert), I'd like to address my synthetic love life.

For anyone out there reading these posts, you know I've been watching a lot of the new Doctor Who on DVD lately in a secret attempt to avoid doing homework. It took me about three episodes to really get hooked on the show, but something interesting has happened. I'm synthetically in love with Rose Taylor/Billie Piper, who is the female lead of the show and the woman on the right. I've never met her, nor will I probably ever, but I'm totally mesmerized. It is kind of like when you fall in love with the person who sits next to you in class, knowing full well that the relationship that is brewing in your mind will never exist in reality. One day, the Doctor Who DVDs will run out, and Billie and I's relationship will come to a crashing halt.

In the future I may fall in love with a woman I've actually spoken to, but until then, Billie Piper rules my world..... Has anyone ever fallen in love with a celebrity?

I wonder what Fred and Albert think of this.

I am completely hooked to your posts. They crack me up. Where did you come up with the idea? Are you writing a novel along the same lines? If you are, I would buy it.

hey, thanks for the comment. i am in a weird place right now about my writing. i have little confidence and now i am going to england this summer to do a creative writing workshop for five weeks. eek. i am still floundering about my capabilities. so, with that said, i appreicate your comment.

enough about me. i love to read your stuff. i think this is the second.. or third online class i have taken with you. and i was interested in your thoughts the first time around... and it continues. you make me laugh. i am still reading.

PS. i am NOT however in love with billie piper. hahahaa... i in fact am boycotting TV still.

of course i do watch tv on dvds. so maybe i am a hypocrite. its just that tv makes me angry. so angry i throw things at the screen and yell obscenities. hahaha... but seriously... lots of bad words.

Thank you everyone for your comments,

rj,
I completely fell for Sarah Michelle Gellar a couple of years ago. I understand where you are coming from.

Kelly,

No, this isn't part of a novel or anything. I'm just a guy who tries to be like Albert Einstein (always working and advancing my studies) but fears that Fred Freuger (and pop culture) has destroyed my brain.

Keri,
Your writing is good. Why not leave it there without the asterick-stricken language?

brb.

When I was about 13 or 14, I fell in love with Johnny Depp.

I went to see Benny and June in the theater and I left the movie sick to my stomach. It was the first time I desired to be in a romantic relationship with someone.
I had had crushes before. You know; one of those 'he's so hot' infatuations; but it never went beyond a surface attraction.

But, what I felt that day was intense. I wanted to know him so bad. I wanted to be his girlfriend, his June.

I spent weeks in a reverie as I imagined having a relationship with him.

Though this didn't happen to me again until Eddie Vedder, I have been very faithful to Johnny Depp throughout the years. (Not the Pirates of the Carribbean Johnny, but the Gilbert Grape, Don Juan, Ed Wood, Benny and June Johnny Depp).

Mandee,

Your devotion to Johnny Depp is impressive. Did you know that his first movie was the original Nightmare on Elm Street film?

As for me, I've had a flu-like infatuation with Gwyneth Paltrow, a long-term relationship with Sarah Michelle Gellar, and am presently quite content with Billie Piper.

now look mike,

i was flipping the channels last night looking for a movie to watch and there it was "doctor who." so i switched to BBCA at 9pm and saw a full episode with billie piper.

and my response: i am a little disappointed in you. she has the jaw of a man. didnt you know that? the picture up there is way more flattering. but her jaw is like.. demi moore or minnie driver. a man's jaw.
